Overview[]
The Warriors are a proud and mighty faction. They believe in strength, honor, and pride above all else. They reside in a massive snowy mountaintop fortress, known as the Redwood Stronghold. Warriors like to fight up close and personal, wielding massive blades and huge, bulky armor. They can take a hit like no other, and dish out some insane close-ranged damage. Due to their tank-like nature, Warriors are most likely to favor VIT and STR over INT and DEX.
The Warrior Stronghold is where players can purchase equipment exclusive to the Warrior class, as well as consumables found nowhere else in Vesteria.
To become a Warrior, players can go to the main hall of the warrior building at level 10 to talk to the faction leader, Sir Tristain. To find Sir Tristain, upon entering the Redwood Stronghold, follow the path up the mountain. Once you reach Warrior Stronghold, walk straight after crossing the bridge until you encounter a door. Interact with the door to enter the main hall and Sir Tristain can be found standing at the end. Sir Tristain gives you a Rusty Sword and 1 Warrior Rune for free upon swearing to this faction. You also gain a significant 50% maximum HP boost due to the Warriors' bulky nature.
Subclass[]
At level 30, Warriors are able to select one of three Subclasses available to them:
Subclass | Description |
---|---|
Paladin | Fighter that specializes in magical attacks and minor healing. Carries a slow, two-handed heavy weapon, known as a Greatweapon. |
Berserker | Forgoes protection in favor of high damage. Deals damage to large groups of enemies, and can boost the damage of their allies and self. |
Knight | Tank that carries a sword and shield. They have the best survivability in the game. Has the ability to attract mobs to them, stun enemies, and increase defense of nearby allies. |
Spearman (unconfirmed)(upcoming) | A new emblem was added to the vesteria discord at an unknown date, a spear on a warrior emblem named ":spear_emblem:". The name spearman is pure speculation and is not confirmed in any way. (will add the picture later) |

Combat Roll | Active | Roll in the direction your character is facing. It can be used as either a means to get to another place faster or to avoid an attack in combat. The ability has a bit of ending lag that hinders the player from moving forward during it. If the player is attacked while using this ability, the damage taken is reduced by 65%. Parry | Active | The player enters a guarding stance for 1.5 seconds. If they are struck by an enemy, a strong counter-attack is delivered while only receiving 50% of the countered attack's damage. If the player is struck by a projectile, it gets reflected back (does not apply in some instances, such as Guardian's Boulder Toss). Some AoE attacks from players can circumvent this and hit the user without triggering a counterattack. The counterattack is also a short-range slash, so being hit by a non-projectile ranged attack may cause it to miss. This ability can be upgraded 5 times. Damage scales with physical and weapon attack of the user, not the damage dealt by the attacker. This means parrying a weak attack will make a counterattack of the same strength as if a stronger attack were parried. | Physical | |
Ground Slam | Active | Leap forward a short distance to deal massive amounts of damage to enemies in an area of effect. While the blade is swung to hit the ground, a shockwave is released dealing damage to all enemies in its radius.
